**Short Story About theKids :
In an age where every band is one-upping each other, its really hard to focus on what bands have to offer musically. With all of these hook-ups and "programs" used to try to boost a bands morale, it seems less likely to get anywhere these days.
For the Kuta band, theKids they have looked past that. With all of the hard work as a group, this brotherly band shows their effort to give back to their friends, and it seems to have paid off thus far.
From the get-go theKids has proven themselves and showed the local scene what they are capable of.
In May of 2002 this band was founded with their first line up, and set out to do something for themselves, friends, and families.
Playing shows nearly every weekend due to Highschool band members. As the band progressed, there were changes. In the Summer
of 2003,this band had a problem,they took an indefinite break.
Finally,early 2005 they back again with new line up
Towards the end of the summer of 2007, a new member was added as well to complete the line-up. Bulex come to team up with theKids.
With Partanx on bass and backing vocals, they worked hard to create something powerful with catchy tunes.
theKids have done hundreds of indie shows in kuta and denpasar.
At the moment this five pieces is currently writing new stuffs for their first upcoming ep, hopefully this ep will be hit the road at the end of 2008,and is going to begin their journey as a band. Look out for these youngsters!
